PURPOSE:To prevent a person who sits on a seat front being tired by a method wherein after a lumbar plate is statically brought in contact with the most suitable position of the lumbar vertebra of the person, a back-and-forth motor is periodically put in repeated operation for a specified period of time to move the lumbar plate back and forth. CONSTITUTION:A lumbar support 22 with a lumbar plate 26 is provided inside a backrest 24 of a seat 16. An operation switch 12 located near a seat 36 is operated and the lumbar support 22 is moved up and down by an up-and-down motor M3 to a most suitable position of the lumbar vertebra of a person who sits on the seat 36. Then, a back-and forth motor M4 is operated back and forth to generate an optimum static pressure on the lumbar plate 26. Then, the lumbar plate 26 is periodically moved back and forth for a specified period of time by the back-and-forth motor M4 to press the lumbar vertebra of the person repeatedly. Thereby, the person who sits on the seat 16 is prevented from being tired. |
