Portable appts. for determn. of insulin dosage in the form of a pocket calculator with the following components; (a) means of measurement of glyceme level (MG), (b) means (M1) of storage of lower glyceme limit and risk of passing this limit, with access key (E1), (c) means (M2) of storing preceding results i.e. glyceme dose and insulin injected, (d) means (M3) of storing information relating to glyceme distribution, connected to glyceme monitor (MG), (e) means (M4) of storing information pertinent to user giving equivalents of glyceme and insulin, (e) buffer memory (MT1) storing details of glyceme measurements, physical exercise and insulin injected, with entry key (E2) and connected to glyceme monitor (MG) and means (M2) of storing results, (f) second buffer memory (MT2) stores details of physical exercise and is connected to entry key (E2) of prim. buffer memory (MT1), (g) calculator determining level of insulin dose to be injected from above data. USE/ADVANTAGE - Control of diabetes. Pocket sized. Insulin dose calculated to produce lowest level of glyceme without risk of hypoglycaemia (claimed).
