PURPOSE:To enable a loading device to cope with the dimensional change of a printed circuit board, and automate all operation processes including a plating process by erecting upright the horizontally laid printed circuit board with a rotating roller conveyor, and then feeding the board to a belt conveyor for carrying the board in such state as holding the lower end thereof. CONSTITUTION:When unprocessed printed circuit boards 5 are fed to the upper surface of the belt 4 of a transfer conveyor 1, and the forward end boards 5 reach transfer rollers 9 and 9a at the rear end of a rotating roller conveyor 7, the predetermined quantity of the boards 5 is quickly taken into the conveyor 7 and stops at the position of pressure contact plane 10. Then, a drive device 12 begins to operate and the pressure contact plane turns up to an upright condition. In addition, the roller 9 continues to rotate in a C-direction and the transfer roller 9a continues to rotate in a reverse C-direction. Thus, the upright printed circuit boards 5 are fed to a delivery conveyor 15. Furthermore, the boards 5 pass the conveyor 15, and are fed to a standby belt conveyor 19. In this case, the roller 9 and the conveyor 15 turn at the same speed. |
