PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive filler in a practical manner by dispersing fine conductive particles having one or more reactants on the surfaces thereof into water which may contain a reactant dissolved therein and heating the suspension or adding a catalyst thereto. CONSTITUTION:Fine conductive particles which have on the surfaces thereof either a solvent and a reactant (A) or the reactant (A) alone are dispersed as an oil phase into water containing a reactant (B) reactive with the reactant (A). Alternately, fine conductive particles which have on the surfaces thereof either a solvent and at least one reactant or at least one reactant alone are dispersed as an oil phase into water. The resulting suspension is heated or a catalyst is added thereto to thereby react the reactant(s) on the particle surfaces. Thus, a thermoset, thermoplastic, or thermoset/thermoplastic insulating resin is formed to obtain the desired filler. |
