摘要 The linearity compensation system is used for a monitor using a number of different longitudinal frequencies, the horizontal deflection circuit having a deflection coil and a linearity coil (C) in series. An electromagnet (B) is coupled to the linearity coil with a current control regulating the current through the electromagnet coil in dependence on a voltage signal from the monitor to vary the magnetic field strength and alter the relationship between the inductance and the current through the linearity coil dependent on the horizontal frequency from an external display adapter. Pref. the linearity coil has an I shaped ferrite core wound with a coil element serially connected to the deflection coil and mounted between a permanent magnet (A) and the core of the electromagnet. ADVANTAGE - Allows computer adaptor to be compatible with several display adaptors with different sampling frequencies.
