Perfuming composition or perfumed article containing as a perfuming ingredient at least one pentadecenolide of formula <IMAGE> (I) having a double bond of trans configuration in one of the positions 11 or 12 such as indicated by the dotted lines. Compounds (I) develop musky, animal odor notes, reminiscent of natural musk.
