The device has a holder (12) for gripping under the bridge and two further holders (13) for gripping under the curved ear pieces, set at right angles to the bridge holder. The holders are made of round rods. The bridge holder is set at an angle of pref. 10 - 17 deg. from its connection with the ear piece holder. The holder unit (14) along with the bearing construction is held in a bearing arm with a ploygonal cross section. There is a stop (23) on the free end of the bridge holder. The ear piece holder may have a waved profile. USE/ADVANTAGE - For displaying spectacles on shelves and in shop windows. The display capacity is increased and provides a better aesthetic appearance.
