In a microfilm projection viewing device, the film 1 is driven continuously between reels 8 and 9 until the required frame appears on screen 6, a rotating optical compensating device 16, such as a prism on mirror, providing a stationary image on the screen of identifying symbols included in each frame. The device 16 is driven by gear 14 on sprocket wheel 12. The film is divided longitudinally into two parts, one bearing information, the other bearing identifying symbols as in Fig. 2 (not shown). |
