PURPOSE:To realize a multicolor electrophotographic recorder where an electrostatic charger has such device constitution that specially stable transfer efficiency is obtained so that transfer is stably performed as for the multicolor electrophotographic recorder using an electrophotographic recording method or an electrostatic recording method, etc. CONSTITUTION:Color toner image forming means which are an electrostatic charging means, an exposing means and a developing means arranged in order are opposingly disposed on the circumference of a photosensitive drum 1 independently by every color, and the image of plural colors is formed by the one rotation of the photosensitive drum 1 in a color electrophotographic device; where each electrostatic charging means other than the first electrostatic charging means is constituted of a control type electrostatic charger 15 having a grid electrode, and an impressed current control means 16 which sets an electrostatic charger impressed current for each electrostatic charging means so that it may successively get lower than the electrostatic charger impressed current for forming the preceding image by one rotation of the drum 1 is provided and controls to uniformize the electrostatic charging voltage of a color toner layer formed by every color. |
