PURPOSE:To allow a picture station able to correct registration to effectively continue color picture forming or monochromatic picture forming. CONSTITUTION:When a pattern forming means forms a resist correction mark for each color onto a transfer belt 1 by a photosensitive drums 2-5 in a prescribed timing, sensors 10a, 10b starts reading each resist correction mark transferred onto the transfer belt 1 and a controller section 51 implements arithmetic operation processing of resist correction mark position and shape for each color to read data, the controller section 51 discriminates the propriety of registration correction for each color based on the obtained arithmetic operation data and the controller section 51 controls the selective correction of each picture station by a correction means based on the result as the feature of the device. |
