摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the recording quality by adjusting the shortening ratio of the irradiating time when the magnification of the recording speed is differ ent. CONSTITUTION:When data recorded in an optical disk 10 is reproduced by casting the reproducing laser light, the read data is modulated by a signal reproducing processor circuit 30 and, converted and output as analog signals by a D/A converter 32. An input EFM signal is modulated in a regulated manner in a data signal correcting circuit 26 to control the irradiating time of a recording laser light 11. When the set magnification of the recording speed is small, the shortening ratio of the irradiating time corresponding to the length of a to-be-formed pit is increased. If the magnification is large, the shortening ratio is decreased. Since a laser generating circuit 25 forms a predetermined pit length in the irradiating time determined by the circuit 26, the laser power of the light 11 is controlled. In this manner, while the increase of crosstalks or jitters is prevented, the predetermined pit length is ensured. The deterioration of the quality of recording signals is hence prevented.
