摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an exclusive input terminal receiving each MUSE signal in a laser disk device for the CS broadcast, the BS broadcast and the MUSE system and to prevent picture quality from being deteriorated due to a triangle wave superimposed on the MUSE signal. CONSTITUTION:The decoder is provided with a triangle wave detection section 10 detecting a triangle wave superimposed on a selected MUSE signal, a triangle wave generating section 12 generating a triangle wave used for canceling the triangle wave superimposed on the MUSE signal based on the detected triangle wave, and a triangle wave superimposing section 11 used for superimposing the triangle wave generated by the triangle wave generating section 12 onto the selected MUSE signal, and the triangle wave superimposition section 11 eliminates the triangle wave superimposed on the MUSE signal.
