PURPOSE:To carry out the high accurate tension control, by obtaining the interstand tension depending on the torque arm during the rolling work, and by controlling to make thus obtained interstand tension to be the aim tension. CONSTITUTION:Before the rolled material 1 is bitten into the (i+1)-th stand 3, the reference torque arm depending on the actually measured data is operated and memorized by the arithmetic memory unit 36 for the actually measured reference torque arm. On the other hand, the predicted reference torque arm is operated and is memorized in the unit 35, and the torque arm correction factor is obtained by the arithmetic unit 37. The predicted torque arm arithmetic unit 34 operates the predicted torque arm, and the arithmetic unit 38 operates the torque arm depending on this predicted torque arm and the torque arm correction factor. Meantime, the arithmetic unit 39 and 310 operate the back tension torque arm and front tension torque arm during the rolling work. Depending on thus obtained torque arm, back tension torque arm, front tension torque arm, actually measured rolling load, rolling torque, and previously obtained back tension, the front tension arithmetic unit 311 operates the front tension, and controls the motor's rotational speed and the stand roll gap in order to make the front tension to be the aim tension. |
