PURPOSE:To provide an information processor capable of loading a program through simple operation by providing a means to receive and store the program from a host machine, and load it in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 11 reads the state of a DIP switch 18, and in the case that a mode is an application execution mode, if a reception flag is in an ON state, it stores and loads the program stored as a file in an application sent from the host machine 30 in the storage area 12 of the application program or/and a system program. Then, it resets the program reception flag, and executes the application. In the case that the mode is not the application execution mode, and in addition, it is a load mode, program loading from the host machine 30 by an I/F 15 for transmission or the program loading from the host machine 30 through an FDD 16 or a RAM card I/F 17 is selected in accordance with the selection of the load mode by a user.
