PURPOSE:To allow a time slot control section that sets a transmission signal in a transmission slot and extracts a reception signal from a reception slot to diagnose by means of the loopback method in which a specified signal is transmitted and compared with a received signal in the radio communication equipment implementing two-way communication in which a digitized transmission signal and a reception signal are allocated in different time slots. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosis control section 15 selects a switch 14 so that a output of a transmitter side time slot control section 13 is connected to an input of a receiver side time slot control section 8 only at diagnosis and controls the transmitter side time slot control section 13 so that a timing of transmission of transmission data within a specified time slot is matching a time of the reception slot. Thus, the time slot control section is diagnosed by the usual loopback method.
