The appts. for oscillating a laser beam (L) incorporates a concave mirror (M) for focussing the beam in a direction essentially perpendicular to its incidence direction. The mirror (M) is attached to a unit (11,12,21) which is rotatable about the axis (9) of the incident beam (6) and includes a mirror holder (11,12) in bearings (10) in a housing (4). The mirror holder (11,12) on one side is attached to the output shaft (16) of a component producing angular pulses, while on the other side it is attached by means of an elastic element (21) and a coupling piece (22) to a stationary part (8) of the housing (4).
