<p>PURPOSE:To start a capstan motor in synchronization with a reference frame signal based on the information of a head scanning track at the still time, in a mode transfer to a normal reproduction or the like from the still. CONSTITUTION:A reference rotation signal which is the rotation reference of a cylinder motor 902 driving a rotary magnetic head 903, and the reference frame signal are generated by a reference generator 911. The reproduction signal reproduced by the rotary head 903 is inputted to a track number detecting circuit 915 to detect the track number, thereby a signal corresponding to the track number is outputted. A microcomputer 917 to decide the drive and stop timings of a tape 901 is synchronized with the reference frame signal to stop the capstan motor 925, and the track number is recognized by the microcomputer 917 at the time of stopped state of capstan motor 925, then the start timing is decided.</p> |
