<p>The invention relates to the administration of guanylate cyclase inhibitors, such as methylene blue, for the treatment of septic shock, cardiogenic shock, hypovolemic shock, obstructive shock, neuropathic shock and hypotension caused by excessive doses of nitrovasodilators. The invention also relates to the use of other redox dyes, such as toluidine blue, neutral red, tetrazolium salts, chloranil and dichlorophenolindophenol for the treatment of shock.</p> |
