Process for producing a recycled plastic product from coated plastic parts and recycled thermoplastic. Known processes pulverise coated plastic parts to approximately 300 to 500 mu m in a multi-stage grinding operation. In the solution according to the process, coated plastic parts are finely divided in a plurality of stages, but not pulverised, while they are simultaneously subject to shearing in the fine-comminution step to detach a considerable proportion of the coating adhering to them. The resulting plastic particles and coating particles are separated. Recycling process for coated thermoplastic moulded parts in general, but particularly from automobile manufacture and in particular recycling of coated bumpers.
