<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a ventilation device capable of keeping safety against explosion and/or poisonous dangers when ammonia is leaked into a room, in which equipment employing ammonia refrigerant are provided. CONSTITUTION:A ventilation device, constituted of a forcibly air discharging means 3 as well as a water spraying chamber 4 and operated by an ammonia detecting sensor 12, is arranged in a machine room 2, in which a refrigerating machine 1 utilizing ammonia refrigerant is installed. The forcibly air discharging means 3 is provided with a ceiling cover 5, an air discharging duct 6 and a ventilation fan 7 and sucks gas above the refrigerating machine 1 to send it into the water spraying chamber 4. Water is sprayed against the gas discharged into the water spraying chamber 4 by a water spraying means to dissolve ammonia into water. According to this method, safety can be kept against the explosive and poisonous property of the ammonia.</p> |
