<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the tape guide for a magnetic tape which is made of a synthetic resin and has a good traveling characteristic. CONSTITUTION:This tape guide is made of the cylindrical or circular columnar synthetic resin having the drum-like curved surface which is larger in the outside diameter of the central part than the outside diameter at both ends. The tape guide is produced by injection molding, etc., using high mol.wt. polyethylene having a large mol.wt. as the synthetic resin. As a result, the tape guide which can be easily produced, is lightweight and has the characteristics equiv. to the characteristics of a metallic tape guide is obtd.</p> |
