PURPOSE:To prevent the microcapsule toner from being damaged in a coating mechanism and to form a good picture by providing a protective member capable of being softened and collapsed by irradiation with light on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A material 46 is encapsulated with a well material 45 to constitute a globular photosensitive capsule toner 41, and a protective film 47 is provided on the wall. The grain diameter of the toner 41 is controlled to about 12mum. The material 46 has a photosetting material which is photosensitized by the light of a specified wavelength, allowed to react and softened and a sensitizing dyestuff which develops a color in a picture color. Meanwhile, the protective film 47 is softened and collapsed by the light of the wavelength different from that of picture exposure of the toner 41. Accordingly, since the protective film 47 is provided on the photosensitive capsule 41, the capsule is not damaged when rubbed or agitated in a coating unit, and coating is flawlessly carried out. |
