<p>PURPOSE:To enable the hitting of a ball in any direction aimed accurately by mounting a shaft on the rear side of a face surface of a club head with the shaft inclined at a specified angle from the face surface when it is set vertically CONSTITUTION:In a putter 1 which has a club head 2 having a face surface 3 for hitting a golf ball at the lover end of a shaft 4, the shaft 4 is mounted on the rear side of the face surface at an angle of at least 10 deg., preferably at 30 deg. from the plane containing the face surface 3 when it is set vertical with the sole of the club head 2 as the lower end. This enables addressing so that a hole can be located on the side of a cup from a front position of a foot closer to the cup. In the situation, a ball can be hit thereby enabling the striking of the ball in any direction as desired.</p> |
