PURPOSE:To ameliorate the form of an air bag being installed in an instrument panel of a car. CONSTITUTION:A bag 70 to be housed in the case of an air bag module has a strip main part member 76, and a side member 74 being joined to both sides of this strip main part member 76, and it comes to a pyramidal form in time of being unfolded. The side member 74 with a polygonal plane form is composed of a side being circumscribed to a circle with a center point O. So, if this bag 70 is folded in a rectangular plane form along a bend line, this bend line is collected along a rectangular long side. Accordingly, smooth unfolding is secured and, what is more, its accommodation into the case becomes facilitated. |
