As a result pneumatic motors (32,33, fig.4) are acted on with compressed air in the gripping position. In the unloading position of the rolls (19), the quick acting air release valve (52, fig. 4) opens. ADVANTAGE - Rolls can be brought to machine as quick as possible in essentially automatic operation.
