PURPOSE:To obtain high grade image, form the image at a high speed, and make a device compact by arranging a record section of one image forming means upstream of a record section of other image forming means and performing the recording with the first image forming means prior to the recording with the other image forming means. CONSTITUTION:In an electrophotographic recording read section 2, a manuscript lighting lamp 21 and a first mirror 22 move integrally on a vertical scanning rail 17 and a second mirror and a third mirror 24 move integrally on the vertical scanning rail 17. An image forming section P comprises a plurality of record sections of different record systems and is constituted of an ink jet record section 3 at a first position and an electrophotographic record section 4 at a second position downstream in the sending direction of a material to be recorded. The ink jet record section 3 is arranged upstream in a conveying passage of the material to be recorded with respect to the electrophotographic record section 4 and the recording at the record section 3 is performed prior to the recording at the record section 4. |
