The present lnventlon relates to a method of of assembling a vehicular driving shaft in which a joint unit is attached to each of both ends of the driving shaft, wherein the improvement of the driving shaft is conveyed to a plurality of assembly stations while being maintained in a vertical position, with its axial line extending vertically, and at said assembly station component parts of the joint units are assembled to the driving shaft while the driving shaft is held in its vertical position.
