PURPOSE:To enable the freely attachable and detachable connection of a front end chip to and from the laser probe with a simple construction and the easy and sure mounting of the front end chip in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:A detaining pin 13 is provided on either of a holding member 6 of the front end chip 5 of the laser probe or front end member 7 on a sheath 2 side and a detaining groove 14 to be fitted with the detaining pin 13 is provided on the other. The detaining groove 14 consists of an introducing groove part 14a along the axial direction of the laser probe 1 and a detaining groove part 14b along the rotating circumferential direction in continuation therewith. A top part 15 which is elastically deformed at the time of fitting the detaining pin 13 into the detaining groove part 14b from the introducing groove part 14a is provided between the introducing groove part 14a and the detaining groove part 14b. |
