PURPOSE:To improve the durability by providing a lockup line determining means to determine so that a lockup line of a control map can move to the low speed side when a movable load is large according to a load signal of a load sensor to detect the movable load of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A load signal of a load sensor 112 to detect a movable load is inputted to an A/T control unit 100, and a lockup line is determined so as to be moved to the low vehicle speed side as the movable load shown by the load signal becomes large, and the lockup line of a control map is changed. When the movable load is large, the duty ratio is set large, and a disk part 33 of a converter cover 2 and a lockup piston 8 are fastened speedily to each other. When the movable load is small, the duty ratio is set small, and lockup is carried out so that a fastening impact can be reduced. Thereby, when the movable load becomes large, since a lockup area is enlarged, a slip of a torque converter 1 does not become excessive, and an oil temperature rise can be also restrained low, so that durability can be improved. |
