PURPOSE:To simplify a roller stripping measure without damaging a printing press by using an aqueous printing roller washing solution containing a chelating agent and adjusted to pH5-10 by a neutralizing agent. CONSTITUTION:The pH of an aqueous solution of a chelating agent such as sodium hydroxyethyldiaminetriacetate, diethylenetriamineheptaacetic acid, pref., ethyalenediaminetetraacetic acid or a sodium salt thereof is adjusted to 5-10, pref., 7-9 by a strong base or a strong acid. A hydrocarbon solvent is compounded with this aqueous solution in a wt. ratio of 9/1-1/9 and 0.1-15wt.% of a surfactant is further compounded with the aqueous solution to be emulsified to prepare an aqueous printing roller washing agent. When this washging agent is used, tricalcium phosphate being the substance causing the stripping of a roller bonded to the surface of the roller can be simply dissolved and removed without damaging a printing press or a printing roller. |
