PURPOSE:To obtain the processing composition containing a processing agent low in an environment pollution load by incorporating the ferric complex salt of a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:The ferric complex salt of the compound represented by formula I is incorporated in which each of R<1>-R<6> is H or hydroxy or an aliphatic or aromatic group; and W is a group having C; and each of M1-M4 is H or a cation. The silver halide photographic sensitive material subjected to imagewise exposure and color development is processed with this processing solution having a bleaching ability. The processing sol. having a bleaching ability contains a bleaching solution composition and a bleach-fixing solution composition, and it may be a powder in a kit, and an aqueous solution like a processing solution and a replenishing solution or the like.
