PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device in which color slurring is not caused between synthetic images of the images of plural colors formed on a recording material even when the moving speed of a recording material carrier is fluctuated by impact in the case that a contacting/separating member contacts to/separates from the recording material carrier. CONSTITUTION:Time when the leading edge of the image on a transfer drum 1 passes a point E and a point C is detected by a position detecting means. After moving estimated time T1 elapses from the time when it passes the point E, the irradiation of the magenta image of a 1st color is started. Then, the time T2 when the leading edge of the image actually moves from the point E to the point C is detected. A time lag DELTAT between the moving time when the leading edge of the image moves from the point E to the point C and the moving estimated time is detected. As for the second and succeeding colors, cyan, yellow, and black, the irradiation of the respective images is started at intervals of the time T1-TDELTA that the moving estimated time is corrected by DELTAT after the leading edge of the image passes the point E. |
