PURPOSE:To process a high fidelity picture even at a low speed by adding additional information to each compressed image data obtained by dividing and compressing an original picture, and mixing and outputting the image data on the same signal line. CONSTITUTION:The timing control of the delivery of image data to each compressor 4A-4D is operated based on a status control signal among the compressors 4A-4D and a control part 3. A screen division is operated by a D-MPX 1, and each image data are appropriately compressed by the compressors 4A-4D. Each compressed image data are inputted to an MPX 5, arranged on the same signal line, and the addition information is added to the image data by a control part 6, and the data are converted into a serial signal by P/S converter 7, and transmitted. And also, the output of each compressor can be discriminated by the addition information, and the addition information is prepared based on information transferred between two control parts 3 and 6. |
