PURPOSE:To provide a recording article having good absorbability and good transparency capable of corresponding even to a recording system using ink with high solvent content such as an ink jet printer. CONSTITUTION:After recording is applied to a recording sheet wherein a porous layer composed of alumina hydrate is provided on a base material, linseed oil or a silicone resin is infiltrated in the porous layer and cured to transparentize the porous layer to obtain a recording article.
