The device eliminates the thermal bridge between the exterior and interior and comprises a support (1) and a cover (3). An insulating profile (2) presents two downwardly directed walls (21) forming a continuous channel into which the top of the support locates. - Two lateral wings (22) extend horizontally from the profile (2) and incorporate flanges (23) on their faces against which the ends of the cover (3) bear.
