<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the bias error generated in a beam orientation angle sensing system when a non-linear curve is approximated by a straight line. CONSTITUTION:Approximate calculation is made by an approximating device 6 at the time of off-line on the basis of the data set by a switch 7, and the result from approximation is passed to a bias calculator 8. The bias calculator 8 makes calculation of the bias amount on the basis of this input and the data stored in the built-in memory and stores the results from bias amount calculation. The bias value stored is used when the output of the approximating device 6 is subjected to automatic correction made by a bias correction circuit 9.</p> |
