<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a nonvolatile memory and a system using it and also to shorten time for rewriting by reducing the rewriting bit number of the nonvolatile memory from an initial bit state. CONSTITUTION:The total number of the respective bits zero and the bits one of writing data for the nonvolatile memory (memory matrix 4) are obtained, the numbers of the both bits are compared, a large number bit state is picked-up and the bits zero and the bits one of writing data are inverted (2) in a direction where the rewriting bit number from the initial bit state of the nonvolatile memory is decreasing so as to execute rewriting (3). Inverted and rewritten data is re-inverted at the time of reading and read as original data.</p> |
