PURPOSE:To shorten a communication time by substituting the confirmation response to the repetition of input data for the succeeding input. CONSTITUTION:After ending one betting data input from a subscriber in a subscriber's home 1, a voice response device 4 in a telephone betting center 2 repeats the data input and demands the succeeding betting. Although the subscriber returns a signal reporting correct repetition heretofore when the repetition is correct, this system is allowed to input the succeeding betting data without executing the return of the signal and return a signal for ending the betting when there is no succeeding data. When the repetition is not correct, a signal indicating incorrect repetition is returned, and when the subscriber requires to listener the repetition once again, a signal requesting the repetition is returned. Since no trouble is generated even when no signal indicating correct repetition is returned when the repetition is correct, a speaking time can be shortened only by a period required for the return. Although a remarkable effect is not obtained in the case of one betting, a return in each betting is made unnecessary in the case of plural betting and the effect for the shortage of the speaking time can be improved. |
