<p>PURPOSE:To avoid any malfunction and reduce a fear of any damage to a rotary paper tray or the like due to this malfunction by installing a shifting means for moving either of a retractable part and a detecting means to a shifting detectable position from a shifting undetectable position of the retractable part against an energizing means. CONSTITUTION:Shifting means different in a distance from a sensor adapter plate 24, namely, two rising parts 25a, 25b are installed each in a pressed part 25 of a sensor adapter plate 24. A set of shifting means, namely, two projections 28a, 28b are installed in a pressing part 28 of a paper feed cassette 1, coming into contact with these rising parts 25a, 25b, and they press the pressed part 25 and the sensor adapter plate 24, shifting them in a B' direction against the energizing force of a shifting coil spring 24b. At this time, only at a time when installation of the paper feed cassette 1 in the specified position of a paper feeder body 2 is perfect, both first and second sensors 23a, 23b are set so as to be shiftable to the shifting detectable position of a douser 22a. Therefore, detection of any imperfection can be detected.</p> |
