PURPOSE:To reduce the penetration of earth and sand and so on into an impulse part and remove the sedimentation of the earth and sand in an easy manner by installing an interconnecting pipe, interconnecting the impulse part periphery of a rear shield frame and a rear chamber of a cutter disk, in a slurry pressure type shield machine. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of interconnecting pipes 21 interconnecting the circumference of an impulse part 7 and a rear chamber 22 are installed on the circumference of a front shield frame 20 projectingly in a state of circumferential equi-distribution. Next, a feed slurrypipe 24 equipped with a feed slurry pump 23 and a discharge slurry pipe 26 equipped with a discharge slurry pump 25 both are opened to this rear chamber 22. In succession, an outer periphery of the impulse part 7 is interconnected to the rear chamber 22 by means of six interconnecting pipes, while a pressurized slurry 27 fed to the rear chamber 22 from a feed hydraulic pipe 24 is made to flow onto the outer periphery of the impulse part 7 via the interconnecting pipe 21, flowing back to the rear chamber 22. At the time of a propulsion jack 4 extending, any possible penetration of earth, sand and a back-fill grouting material 28 are prevented from penetrating into the outer periphery of the impulse part 7, and at the time of contraction, the earth, sand and the back-fill grouting material 28 stacked in piles on the outer peripheral of the impulse part 7 are all removed and recovered so properly by means of the pressurized slurry 27 flowing back to the rear chamber. |
