<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject cloth excellent in resilience and softness and having good handle by treating a polyester based fiber cloth with a mixture of a polyester based resin and a silicone based resin. CONSTITUTION:A polyester based fiber cloth is immersed into a dispersion obtained by mixing a water dispersion of a polyester based resin, e.g. a block copolymer of terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol and polyethylene glycol with a silicone resin (e.g. dimethylpolysiloxane) and the immersed cloth is squeezed, dried and heat-treated to provide the objective polyester fiber cloth excellent in resilience and softness as well as washing durability of handle without using a method for reducing weight with an alkali.</p> |
