PURPOSE:To excellently record a music by detecting whether or not an object of recording source contains music, and further making the frequency characteristics flat and widening the sound recording band when the object contains the music. CONSTITUTION:This device has a band-pass filter group 1 for dividing an input signal into plural frequency bands, detecting circuits 2 which detect whether or not each of the band-pass filters generates an output, and a deciding circuit 3 which inputs the output signals of each of the detecting circuits 2 and decides whether or not each of the output signals is periodically repeated, and, when the output signal is periodically repeated, it is decided that the input signal is a music. When it is to be a music, a switching means 4 is switched to a side TH with the output signal of the deciding circuit 3 and all frequencies of the input signal to a sound recording device 6 are passed. |
