PURPOSE:To facilitate programming for the super-parallel computer by obtaining independent memory areas, procedure by procedure, as to an SIMD type super- parallel computer consisting of many processor elements. CONSTITUTION:An address register 15 which holds an address specified with an setting instruction for the address is provided in a controller 10 and this computer is provided with an address generating circuit 16 which adds the address specified with the address part of the instruction and the address held by the address register 15 to generate an address to be sent out to the respective processor elements 21; and the local memory 22 of each of the processor elements 21 is accessed according to the address. |
