PURPOSE:To suppress lowering of the projection light quantity caused by an offset of a projection lens to the minimum at the time of executing the position adjustment of a projection image. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal projector 1 is provided with a lens barrel 21 in which a projection lens is contained. The lens barrel 21 is loaded so as to be movable in the vertical direction against an optical axis C and the offset amount against the center of liquid crystal panels 8, 13 and 17 is variable. A lamp house 26 for containing a light source 3 is provided so as to movable in the direction for negating the offset amount in accordance with a movement of the lens barrel 21. |
