PURPOSE:To LED-display a mode showing the kind of an input signal to a personal computer and an adjustment level regarding an image and deflection, on the multiscan monitor to which various personal computers which differ in horizontal frequency, etc., and specifications of output signals can be connected. CONSTITUTION:A mode detection part 3 detects a mode from the difference in the horizontal frequency of the input signal 2. A memory part 5, on the other hand, is stored with adjustment levels of specific items such as brightness, a horizontal amplitude, etc., as factory forwarding states corresponding to plural general specifications of input signal sources. A CPU 6 reads corresponding data out when an input signal source matches the stored source, but when not, memory data close to the input signal source are outputted to a horizontal and vertical deflection processing circuit 10 and display data 24 (mode or level) are outputted to an LED driving circuit 7 corresponding to the operation signal 25 from a key input operation part, so that they are displayed at an LED display part 8.
