PURPOSE:To protect a motor positively against damage such as burning without requiring any special component such as overcurrent detecting element. CONSTITUTION:If a magnetic tape is not discharged even upon elapse of time due to catching of a magnetic tape cassette after a loading motor 2 is driven through operation of a reset switch 12 or a discharge switch 16, the loading motor 2 is stopped at that point of time and a trouble stand-by state is brought about. Input operation through the reset switch 12 or the discharge switch 16 is invalidated for a predetermined time after that point of time thus preventing the loading motor 2 from being conducted continuously under overload. This controller protects the loading motor 2 positively against damage such as burning without requiring any special component such as overcurrent detecting element. |
