A laminar article, particularly one for use inside cars, has a decorative or surface layer, an adjacent soft spacer layer and, if appropriate a substrate bonded to the latter. All the layers are made of at least the one or a similar thermoforming polymer and they can be fused together, alternatively, they contain such polymer, and all the layers are bonded together mechanically and/or chemically/physically without any adhesive. Pref. polymers are thermoplastic, e.g., polyamide, polyolefins (particularly polyethylene or polypropylene), polyester, and particularly polyethyleneterephthalate or polybutyleneterephthalate. ADAVANTAGE - The product is made of high-grade materials and can readily be reused. The patent also covers a process for its production.
