PURPOSE:To improve the sliding operability of a relay connector by making the long pin terminals of a connector smaller in diameter than short pin terminals, and making the inner diameter of electric contact sections of relay terminals larger than the outer diameter of the long pin terminals. CONSTITUTION:When a relay connector 3 is slid to a circuit board connector 2 side, pin terminals 6, 14 are connected via relay terminals 23, and the connector 3 is hooked on the connector 2 by a flexible lock arm 19. Electric contact sections 26 on the large diameter side of the terminals 23 are made larger in diameter than the long terminals 6 of a circuit board connector 1, they are brought into no sliding contact with the terminals 6, and the sliding resistance of the connectors 1, 2 is reduced. The connection of the terminals 6, 14 is released when the arm 19 is deflected and the connector 3 is slid to the connector 1 side, and the contact sections 26 are brought into no sliding contact with the terminals 6. The sliding operation of the connectors 1, 2 is facilitated, and workability is improved even if multiple terminals are used. |
