PURPOSE:To end cataphoresis automatically under optimum conditions by providing a means for identifying end point for detecting the end point of a migration marker optically and a means for stopping current supply to a gel migration means based on information from the means for identifying the end point. CONSTITUTION:A buffer liquid 27 for upper migration and an anode electrode 25 are laid out within an upper buffer liquid bath 23. Also, a buffer liquid 28 for lower migration, a light source 23, and a color identification sensor 33 which receives light which is irradiated from the light source 23 are laid out within a lower buffer liquid bath 24. After a storage liquid of sol for separation which is mixed in a specified ratio is deaerated by an aspirator, it is poured into a gel storage part. After water is eliminated, a condensed gel liquid solution is poured onto the gel for separation, a gear-lock tool of the gel storage body 1 is loosened, the bottom plate is removed, and then the gel storage body 1 is mounted to a migration bath 22. When bromophenolblue (BPB) of the marker after migration reaches the lower edge of the gel for separation, wavelength from a light source 32 changes according to the marker BPB. The change is received by a sensor 33 and the current change automatically stops current supply. |
