MAP DISPLAY SYSTEM OF ON-VEHICLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To retrieve specific map information from a map which is displayed while own-vehicle position information is displayed when spot information is registered or deleted during the display of map information or own-vehicle position information in the map. CONSTITUTION:An information processing means 108 which reads own-vehicle position data out of an own-vehicle position detecting means according to an indication from an input means 103 and also reads the map information out of a map information storage means 102 to display necessary map information and the own-vehicle position information in the map on a display device 104 is provided with a sequential spot registering and deleting function which registers or deletes the spot information during the display of the map information or own-vehicle position information and also provided with a function which retrieves the specific map information in the displayed map during the processing of the own-vehicle position information.
